Kathryn Meyer joined LimnoTech in August 2021 as a Project Scientist. Kathryn previously worked as a scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the FIFRA pesticide programs, first in the pesticide registration division at EPA Headquarters in Washington, DC, and then in EPA’s Region 9 office in San Francisco. She also has experience in community engagement and outreach, which she developed while working for the Arctic Data Center at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis. Kathryn earned a Bachelor of Science degree from American University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources and Environment. After graduate school, she was an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education participant in EPA’s Great Lakes National Program Office, where she assisted with the Great Lakes Monitoring Program, spending time on all five Great Lakes. Kathryn’s areas of expertise include ecotoxicology, water quality monitoring, and data analysis and management. Kathyrn works at LimnoTech’s Southern California Regional Office in Los Angeles, California.
