Brandon Ellefson, PE, is an Environmental Engineer at LimnoTech with extensive experience in hydrodynamic modeling and environmental data collection. Brandon has applied his skills to developing various watershed and hydrodynamic models across multiple modeling platforms including DELFT3D-FM, EFDC, SWMM, and HEC-RAS. His models cover a broad range of ecosystems including rivers, large lakes, watersheds, and large coastal environments. Brandon’s models have been applied to a wide range of applications including E Coli modeling, thermal plume modeling, wave modeling, sediment transport modeling, and various water quality parameters. Brandon has also applied a vast number of field techniques to gather environmental data in real-time and over long-term deployments that inform model development and promote educated decision-making. Some of his comprehensive field projects include Great Lakes monitoring and buoy deployment, environmental sensing technologies, mapping lake bathymetry, and water quality sampling. Brandon works at LimnoTech’s Corporate Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
